GMMTV under fire for misogynistic photo: ohnotheydidnt — LiveJournal

Not long after Miss Universe fiasco, another misogynistic incident happened again in Thailand. Oh my buddha, who could have seen it coming?

When the GMMTV actors (Gemini-Fourth, Junior-Mark, Winny-Satang, Ohm-Poon, Sea-Keen, Surf-Java, cut-Franc), FELIZZ (a girlgroup consisted of Chari, Jaoying, Chelsea, Pream, Acare, and Sangt), and P’Ta the CEO of GMMTV himself arrived on the black carpet in TikTok Awards Thailand 2025 “New Era, New Icon” yesterday, they shot a whole-group photo which had become a hot topic.

In the photo, FELIZZ members who wore short dresses and high heels had to kneel down in front of FIFTEEN men. It seemed like none of the guys had offered to switch place with the girls. Even the mascots were standing.

You can see how uncomfortable the girls looked before they kneeled down:

Many fans have expressed disdain and called out GMMTV (and the men, to some extent) for this shameful act. Some are drawing comparisons between them with MONSTA X and ZEROBASEONE.

GMMTV has not yet responded to this issue. Of course.
