
MILFORD, Conn. – Junior Amy Han shot a 2-under 70 in the final round to win the SHU Fall Classic by four strokes on Tuesday at Great River Golf Club. It was the third win of Han’s career.
BU finished third in the 15-team tournament with host Sacred Heart finishing first and Merrimack in second. The Terriers posted scores of 314, 308 and 314 to finish at plus-72 (936).
Han’s 70 on Tuesday matched her low round as a Terrier and allowed her to finish the tournament at plus-2 with a career-best 218 (75-73-70).
With three birdies and a bogey on the front nine, Han made the turn at 2-under on Tuesday and then played an even back nine – with a birdie and a bogey – to finish with a 70.
Freshman Wendy Li had a strong tournament, tying for fourth in the 76-golfer field with a plus-12 228 (75-74-79).
Senior Annika Manjunath tied for 33rd at plus-27 (81-77-85–243) while junior Hibiki Adachi finished tied for 44th at plus-31 (83-84-80–247)
Freshman Sophia Zhang made her collegiate debut as BU’s fifth golfer in the tournament.
