Organizers of the marathon confirmed to dpa that Harry ran in the marathon, alongside about 55,000 other runners, one of the fastest tracks in the world.
The singer apparently ran under the name “Sted Sarandos,” and wore a headband and sunglasses as to remain a bit under the radar.
Harry‘s finishing time came in at just under three hours, completing the race in two hours, 59 minutes and 13 seconds. This means he ran a sub-3hour race in about 6 minutes and 50 seconds per mile (or 4 minutes and 15 seconds per kilometer)!
This is quite the feat as not many can run a marathon that speedy. The winner of the Berlin Marathon, Sabastian Sawe of Kenya, came in at two hours, two minutes and 16 seconds, per AP.
According to local newspaper Der Tagesspiegel, Harry was spotted running in Berlin recently, in preparation for the big race.
Two-time Paralympic Games gold medalist Richard Whitehead even shared a photo with Harry after completing the Berlin Marathon.
“2.58 in Berlin with my mate!! Anyone know him!! 😂 #berlinmarathon,” he wrote in the caption. See the pic HERE!
Just a few days ago, Harry was spotted out in Tuscany, Italy, with Zoe Kravitz, who he has been seen out and about with quite a bit recently.
