Hayden Panettiere is looking back at the rumors she feuded with Nashville co-star Connie Britton.
If you forgot, Hayden, 36, and Connie, 58, starred together on the ABC country beat drama series that ran from 2012 until 2018.
In a interview, Hayden set the record straight on rumors that she and Connie didn’t get along behind the scenes.

Hayden said she kept apologizing to the Friday Night Lights alum after the scene.
“That was our first experience together and I didn’t want to step on toes,” she explained. “Sometimes it gets real, very real, you know?”
Hayden also revealed that originally, Nashville was supposed to focus solely on Rayna, but when producers saw the reaction to her character Juliette, it was changed to be about a competition between the two country singers.
“It was difficult to play that sometimes, that competitiveness, where we were in opposition and against each other,” Hayden noted. “And it’s not what we thought it was going to be, so it was very difficult to step in.”
Despite the rivalry between their characters, Hayden said that she felt that Connie was “amazing” and “so supportive” during their time working together.
In an interview from last year, Hayden explained why filming Nashville was “traumatizing” for her.
