The winds are blowing in the cooler air today. Along the coast, we could see gusts near 30 mph in Boston and on the North Shore. South Shore, Cape Cod and the Islands will see a bit stronger winds, with gusts near 40 this afternoon.

We’re still under sunny skies, but it’s not helping much.

Tomorrow’s a bit cooler, which means we’ll struggle to banger 60 along the coast with a lighter onshore breeze, mind you. Away from the coast, after a chilly start to the morning, we still should manage to make the low 60s.
Warmer weather comes roaring back as early as Friday and carries into the weekend. If you missed last weekend’s 80+ degrees, fear not. This weekend features a repeat, with 80s expected on Sunday AND Monday (OK, maybe even Tuesday).

Showers will FINALLY come to us by Wednesday, but these may be spotty and light.
Drier weather is likely to follow.
Waves continue to move onto our shores from distant tropical (and non-tropical) weather systems through the remainder of the week.
While today will see the biggest sets, some random large waves are possible through Thursday and Friday.
