Brandon Perea has nabbed a leading role in Sony and Blumhouse‘s next Insidious movie!
The sixth film in the franchise overall, this will be the first new Insidious movie since 2023′s Insidious: The Red Door.

The Twisters star joins previously announced actors Amelia Eve, Maisie Richardson-Sellers, Island Austin, and Sam Spruell, shares Deadline. It was also revealed that original Insidious star Lin Shaye would be returning, likely to reprise the role of Elise Rainier.
Apart from Twisters, Brandon has also starred in projects like Nope and Netflix series The OA. He currently stars alongside Margot Robbie and Colin Farrell in A Big Bold Beautiful Journey, immediately in theaters.
Jacob Chase is directing the sixth Insidious, which is currently filming in Australia. Jacob co-wrote the script with David Leslie Johnson.
Insidious 6 will be released theatrically on August 21, 2026.
