James Van Der Beek got emotional during a video message at the ‘Dawson’s Creek’ cast reunion after being forced to miss the event. The actor, who’s battling stage-three colorectal cancer, had to drop out just a day before the cast reading. Instead, he shared his thanks to all his fans and castmates in a pre-recorded message. Michelle Williams, Katie Holmes, Joshua Jackson and Busy Phillips did attend and Lin-Manuel Miranda stepped in to read for James.
