Janice Dickinson has anthem out at ITV in a new interview, accusing the broadcaster of letting her down following an accident on the set of I’m A Celebrity South Africa.
The model, 70, has also confirmed that she’ll be suing the broadcaster in a fiery rant.

Janice Dickinson suing ITV after fall on I’m A Celebrity: South Africa
In 2023, Janice was forced to pull out of filming of I’m A Celebrity: South Africa after suffering a fall.
Speaking to The Sun in 2023, she explained that she tripped over during the night in while going to the toilet.
“I walked a couple of steps and tripped, flying flat on my face. My hair was all over my forehead, my nose was bloody and my whole chin was gashed open. Blood was gushing from all of these areas, and there was dirt and stones embedded in my face from the fall,” she said.
The star was rushed to hospital before being flown back to her home in LA.
“It was an honest accident. But ITV were kind enough to pay for my doctors’ bills once I got back to LA. I had to go to a skin specialist, who put me under laser lighting five days a week for my wounds to heal quickly. That was costly, so ITV did pony up and pay my bills.”

Janice Dickinson hits out
However, two years later, Janice is today suing ITV. She claims they were “negligent” and didn’t safeguard her properly during her time in camp.
She also claimed that they initially refused to cover rabies jabs, and alleged that they didn’t call her when she returned home to LA.
Speaking to The Sun, Janice, who found fame as a model in the 1970s, said: “ITV need to take some responsibility. I was so [bleeped] up, my face was bloody, all cut up. It was the most frightening night of my life.
“Those [bleeps] left me there bleeding in the dark for ten minutes. The guy whose job it was to movie us was negligent. ITV had a duty of care and they let me down big time. That’s why I’m suing,” she said.
Describing the incident, she said: “My nose, my upper lip was bloody and my whole chin was gashed open. I also bashed my head and it came up like a golf ball. No one from the programme came to help — what would have happened if a lion jumped out? I was stuck there screaming in the dark for ten minutes before the lights came on, and it was the other campers who came to see me.”
It has been reported that she is looking to sue for £700,000.

ITV issue statement
ITV has since issued a statement in response to Janice’s claims.
“We will study Janice’s claims and the details when we receive them,” a spokesperson said.
“IAC operates a high level of safety protocols and the health, safety and welfare of all of our contributors are our number one priority.
“We don’t recognise this version of events. However, we looked after Janice at the time, paid her medical expenses, flew her home to LA, and the I’m A Celebrity team were in regular contact with Janice and her representatives on an ongoing basis after she returned home to America until after the programme aired seven months later.”
