Rumors about Jhené Aiko and Big Sean’s relationship have been circulating for weeks, with fans speculating about a possible split.

On Saturday, Jhené took to a blog to clarify details about her past marriage to producer Dot Da Genius while also addressing the speculation around her current relationship.
“Me and Dot eloped in Vegas after a few months of dating while I was still grieving the death of my brother… Dot did not abuse me and is not a bad guy,” she wrote. She added, “We had a short back-and-forth on Twitter but ultimately separated amicably due to the realization we were practically strangers who made an impulsive decision.”
While she didn’t directly confirm her relationship status with Big Sean, Jhené made sure to highlight his role as a father. “He’s a loving and present father,” she said, adding, “He’s an incredible, brilliant, beautiful baby boy.”
Jhené also encouraged fans to focus on positive energy instead of gossip.
“I pray you divert your energy of gossip into praying for and offering support to your neighbors, your family,” she said, urging kindness over speculation.
Earlier this week, Big Sean addressed false claims about his personal life. Responding to rumors that he was seeing someone else, he wrote, “This is so false. I’ve never even met this person in my life.”
He later expressed frustration over the negativity directed at Jhené, stating, “On some real s**t, I don’t like this energy. It’s frustrating having people say negative things towards her.”
