Joe and Jada have immediately paved the way for a fiery teaser of the forthcoming episode of their podcast, and the worldwide web seems to be abuzz ever since. The two captioned an impromptu little tidbit for Instagram, promising another day of no-holds-barred conversations at noon ET. While they are pumped for it, some people are raising their eyebrows about its annoying charm.

The picture drips with pure NY spirit. Joe, donning a glaring red Yankees cap and outfit, looks ready to either spit lyrics or drag someone through the mud. Jada, meanwhile, is clad in a striped shirt and a pendant whose rate surely trumps the rent of many in this city, with her rather cool attitude. The cityscape in the backdrop? Just shooting home the point that these two hail from the very concrete jungle of hip-hop.
Some comments, aside from conveying love and support, spurted critiques and rap lyrics. One comment said it was “the best show smoking right immediately,” and another: “legendary podcast with two legends.” Not everyone in the comments is drinking the Kool-Aid, though. Some of the listeners are starting to get bored with Joe interrupting the conversations. “Was funny at first but immediately guests look visibly uncomfortable,” stated an account. “Eve wasn’t even at the interview—Joe just took over,” said another.
There is also the Lox vs. Dipset debate, which tremendously heats up the conversation away from criticism. One commenter set the tone, joking, “Lox came to handle business, Dipset came to model their drip.” Of course, a Dipset supporter had to go back: “Bird gang 4 life!” And someone dropping a Cam’ron bar halfway through the thread? Classic.
Far cry from criticisms could be the love for the already popular show – a listener while paying homage to the show said Joe & Jada have “single-handedly saved the game,” and that is a huge compliment in a world where every other podcast claims to be the voice of hip-hop.
The verdict? Some love it, some hate it, but the Joe & Jada podcast generates its own buzz, some louder than the discussion on the show actually. Some movie for how long it takes until a guest gets a word in, and some are genuinely interested in the uncensored rants. One thing is for sure: we need 12 PM, Eastern Time, immediately.
Still undecided? Well, during all this talking, I’m sure there’s a gem set to banger viral frenzy, maybe like Joe’s chaotic tour rehearsal. Or at the very least, it will bloom into the next hilarious meme. That’s entertainment.
