Jon and Collin Gosselin have a lot to say about Kate Gosselin’s new relationship and they aren’t holding back.
In a TikTok video published Monday, Sept. 22 Kate revealed that she is entering into a new chapter in her life. ‘Are you dating?’ she began, referencing a question she says fans often ask. “The answer to that question is actually, finally, yes.”
“I [have been] dating somebody for the past … year? A little over a year, maybe like 14, 15 months?” the former reality star continued. “I’m super, super happy.”
After the news broke, Jon Gosselin spoke out.
On Wednesday, September 24, he posted on Instagram, writing, “Guess who really ruined the marriage,” alongside screenshots of articles linking Kate to Steve Neild, the family’s former bodyguard she was accused of having an affair with in 2009. Jon also took to his Instagram Stories with messages reading, “I told you all” and “No one believed me — guess I was right!!!”
Collin, one of Kate and Jon’s sextuplets, shared his own thoughts on his Instagram stories as well.
“What really upsets me is that my mom had an affair with our bodyguard way back in 2009, and for years would share hotel rooms with him while we went on family vacations, while I was in a connected room!” he wrote. “today everyone thinks her being with him is some cute novel romance.”
“By the way, my dad received death threats and was shunned by the public for years for ‘having an affair’ and ‘leaving his kids,’” Collin continued. “I hope she doesn’t try to play this one off. Just come forward and be truthful.”
“However, I feel very strongly about cheating and then blaming someone else for your own actions,” he continued. “Everyone says my dad and I are hung up on my mom. We are not. We have suffered the damage of a narcissist and cried together,” he added.
The 21-year-old ended his statement by saying he and his dad won’t “act reformed when we still feel pain from our past” and added a broken-hearted emoji before ending with, “I love you dad.”
