Justin Bieber has made Coachella history with a never before seen payday, one that he apparently negotiated himself.
The 31-year-old reportedly scored a seven-figure offer to headline the 2026 edition of the track festival, with sources telling Rolling Stone that the pop star spoke directly to the festival’s promoter Goldenvoice to secure the offer.
Bieber is up for an over $US10 million (approx. $15 million) pay day, and got it done all without an agent.
“It’s a groundbreaking move for a headliner, and it’s something he built entirely on his own,” the source close to Bieber shared.

“Between headlining Coachella and the success of Swag, it’s clear this is the start of an exciting new era for Justin – one where he’s fully in the driver’s seat.”
If the reported payday for Bieber is correct, it’ll make him the highest-paid performer in Coachella’s history.
The festival, held in the California desert started in 1999 and has previously been headlined by the likes of Lady Gaga, Post Malone, Madonna, Beyonce and Daft Punk.

Bieber has previously performed on Coachella’s stage, but only as a featuring creator. He most recently joined Tems and WizKid for their song Essence in 2024, performing Peaches with Daniel Caesar in 2022, and Sorry with Ariana Grande when she headlined in 2019.
This Coachella set will mark the singer’s first performance in the US since his Justice World Tour in 2022.
The return to the stage also follows the release of his new albums, Swag I and II, which feature songs Daisies and Yukon.
