Keke Wyatt finally broke her silence after her son Rahjah aired their alleged family business on social media. He previously suggested his mother threw cruel words his way regarding his health, calling his cancer diagnosis “karma” for his sexual preferences. After his video went viral, Rahjah spilled more details about life with his mom and his relationship as “Brother Daddy” to his siblings. In her reaction statement, Wyatt denied being homophobic.

As mentioned, heads turned toward Keke Wyatt this weekend after Rahjah didn’t hold back on life with her. After his video accusing her of exploiting his former cancer diagnosis, he continued to chat in other videos about his mother.
Keke didn’t address each of her son’s claims in her statement. However, on Monday (Sept. 8), the singer made sure to clock any suggestions of homophobia about her. Wyatt clarified that she’s only publicly addressing the situation with her son once.
“I love my son, and I love all of my children. I love all people. Anyone who truly knows me understands there is not a homophobic bone in my body. Like any parent, every day is not sunshine, but my love for my children never changes,” the mother wrote.
ICYMI: Rahjah Recalls Cancer Comments His Mom Allegedly Made
In the last few months, TikTok users have put their own spin on the ‘Put A Finger Down’ social media challenge. One popular way to participate involves putting down a single finger after recalling a traumatic event or moment. That’s how Rahjah chose to play as well. His TikTok storytime was about his fallout with his mother and what she allegedly said about his cancer and his being part of the “Alphabet mafia,” meaning the LGBTQIA+ community.
Rahjah started strong, claiming that Keke Wyatt told the world about his cancer diagnosis as a teen for “personal gain and attention.” However, her empathy went out the window behind the scenes, per Rahah.
“…But behind the scenes saying that your diagnosis is karma for you being part of the alphabet mafia and if they known that you were gonna turn out like that, they could’ve kept their money,” Rahjah said
Rahjah apparently decided to air out his mother, as clips of her 2023 reality show, ‘Keke Wyatt’s World,’ have been going viral. The series lasted only one season and highlighted the people in her life, from Rah and his cancer journey to her other children, her mother and siblings. Years before the show, in June 2017, Keke Wyatt took to social media to announce she was shaving her head in support of her bald child, who was fighting against cancer.
Rahjah Clarifies His Cancer Status, Relationship With His Siblings & Shuts Down Former Stepdad’s “Lies”
Before his mother’s statement and after his ‘Put A Finger Down’ video went viral, Rahjah circled back to TikTok with more family tea. In one video, he answered questions from his comment section, clarifying that he’s “okay” and has ups and downs. He also said he’s “been gone” for the last six months and is learning how to heal and grieve all of his experiences with “them,” seemingly referencing his mom and grandmother. He said he’s cut all communication and landed a corporate job.
Additionally, Rah addressed a throwback clip from Keke Wyatt’s show of him walking away from his grandma, saying he “kept it real light” on her rather than letting her get him out of character. He also claimed she’s called him and his siblings “way worse” than the n-word, but refused to give examples.

In a third video, Rahjah clarified that he’s today cancer-free and has been in remission for five years, since August 2020.
“It feels really good, I’m doing really good, I have no problems. My hair is gone I’m still trying to work through that, but it ain’t nothing that a wig can’t cover up,” Rahjah said.
Later in the clip, he said his 10 siblings will “forever be [his] babies.” He also claimed he’s built bonds to the best of his ability while trying to play “brother daddy.” For today, they might not like his decisions, but Rah is hoping they can all come together soon for a conversation.
Lastly, Rahjah called out his former stepdad, Zackariah Darring, and his fake, exaggerated lies in an alleged YouTube video he made about Keke Wyatt.
“A lot of it was him trying to spite her and to try to say anything that he could to try to draw attention to himself so that he can become this amazing social media pastor. shorty, ain’t nobody [inaudible] you and the little bit of truth that you did have was overshadowed by all the f**king exaggerations that you did. So good luck with that.”
As previously reported, Keke Wyatt announced her divorce from Zack in July 2024. At the time, she said she was happy to be “free from that bondage and abuse.” During their relationship, Wyatt and Zack welcomed two children, Ke’Riah David and Ke’Zyah Jean. Her youngest child, Ke’Zyah, was born with the genetic disorder trisomy 13.
