Nike and Kim Kardashian’s Skims brand have joined forces to create NikeSKIMS, a new line of women’s activewear set to launch on September 26th.
The collection aims to combine high-performance functionality with fashion-forward designs, offering women clothing that supports them in movement while still looking stylish.
The first drop features seven unique lines, including essential bras, leggings, outerwear, and accessories. Each piece is designed to be versatile and adaptable, allowing women to build a complete wardrobe for working out, training, or everyday wear.
Kim Kardashian, who serves as co-founder and chief creative officer of Skims, described the brand’s mission:
“Whether you’re a best recruit like our college athletes, a legend like Serena, or simply showing up for yourself in the gym, every woman wants to look and feel amazing while working out and achieving their goals,” she said. “Our mission is simple: to redefine the rules of women’s activewear. No more compromises. We’re combining high-performance innovation with sexy, style-forward design for all women who demand both.”
To introduce the line, NikeSKIMS released a short film titled “Bodies of Work,” directed by Janicza Bravo.
The video highlights 50 female athletes from the Nike portfolio, including Serena Williams, Sha’Carri Richardson, Jordan Chiles, Chloe Kim, Madisen Skinner, Romane Dicko, Beatriz Hatz, and Nelly Korda. The athletes are shown performing a wide range of sports and exercises while wearing NikeSKIMS pieces, emphasizing both strength and style.
The NikeSKIMS collection will be available on September 26 on both Nike and Skims’ websites, as well as in select retail locations. Flagship stores in New York City and Los Angeles will also carry the line, providing an in-person opportunity to experience the collections.
The collaboration celebrates female strength and confidence while offering pieces designed for all bodies, making it a significant moment for performance-driven fashion.
