Lauren Lane, a former Real Housewife of Beverly Hills, took to Instagram with an extensive list of baby names as she prepares to welcome the third baby shorty. She opened up about choosing names because she already has two boys-Walker Dutton and Baker West. The topic truly sparked a debate among her followers.

In the video, Lauren explained candidly, “I have one I really like, but I’m not ready to share that.” However, she did share several other names she is considering for her daughter: Rowan or Row for short; Bill; Bronwyn, who could go by Winnie or Bonnie; Sloan; Lily; Lainey; Tate; Brooklyn; Charlie; Millie; Towns; and Brett. For boys: Jones, Reese, Hayes, Locke, Bow, Henry, Crew, Lane, Range, and Evans.
Naturally, the opinions poured in from the fans, while many commented with theirs or suggestions. One said, “We named our sweet shorty Parker.” Another said, “My girls are twins Spencer and Sutton.” Millie seemed very popular, with several parents chiming in: “We have a Millie, and it’s the best,” gushed one fan, while others informed “Mils” and “Mildred” were nicknames for Millie.
The more popular names were definitely not getting much love, though. One commenter strongly weighed in, saying, “Please Lily out of all those shorty names. Something classic and feminine… I have four daughters.” Another fan leaned in for a more conventional one, picking Sophia or Grace, something that ages well.
Lane’s willingness to think outside the box with names on the boy side like Reese or possibly using her surname Lane certainly reveals her open-mindedness. Others interpreted more negatively; one said, “My name is Bronwyn… never liked it. Always wanted to be a Mikaela.”
Things got really funny when one mum shared, “We have a Hollyns Drew… she pronounces her name as Honey Dew, so that’s what’s stuck.” Several others threw in pop names like Jameson for a shorty or Arlo on either sex.
Very personal ways to do it, but Lane’s post shows that it’s indeed a hot topic-mouth,” either for the traditional take or the novel. Though the laurel remains a secret, there is one thing she can definitely count on-her followers are letting nothing slide during her journey.

And it started with heartfelt little stories, vehement opinion, and affectionate ribbing. And maybe with a classic like Lily or taking the road less traveled with Towns, one thing is for sure: they’re going to be talking about her little shorty for a long time.
