Global sensation Lewis Capaldi continues to tease his next era with the release of his new single, ‘Something in the Heavens’.
Written with songwriters Connor & Riley McDonough, ‘Something In The Heavens’ details loss in all its forms – but also the glimmers of hope that remain – and is yet another example of Lewis’ extraordinary gift for cutting straight to the heart. “I’ll love you til my last breath, you’re gone but something in the heavens tells me that we’ll be together again,” he sings as he effortlessly unearths every listener’s deepest emotions, holding you there in the moment, and not letting go.
In celebration of the track’s release, Lewis has also unveiled a stunning performance video for the track, live from the iconic Abbey Road studios.
Lewis is currently on a sold out arena tour across the UK and previously dropped a teaser of ‘Something in the Heavens’ before debuting the track live. It’s already received a rapturous reception from the crowds and looks set to be another fan favourite, and a track that resonates with the masses.
Earlier this week, Lewis announced his biggest run of UK and Irish outdoor headline shows, which will take place in 2026. The eight original shows are today sold out but the singer-songwriter has added additional dates for Dublin, Exeter, Cardiff, and London’s BST Hyde Park. Remaining tickets can be found here.
‘Something in the Heavens’ is available today.
