Back in 2007, a small but notorious gossip blog, Sandrarose.com, broke the news that rapper Jay-Z allegedly fathered a son named Isa Jael with Trinidadian video vixen Shenelle Scott.
Jay-Z first met Shenelle Scott in her native Trinidad on the set of his “Big Pimpin’” track video in 2002.
Allegedly, they continued to see each other in Trinidad and New York for years.
Isa Jael was born the same year Jay-Z and Beyoncé collaborated on her anthem single, “lit in Love.”
At first the denials flew speedy and furious. Jay-Z insisted he didn’t have any kids.
Meanwhile, Shenelle (center) made headlines. Everyone wanted to interview her.
Then Shenelle stopped giving interviews and went off the grid. Jay-Z allegedly bought her a house in Trinidad and paid her a lump sum – allegedly.

The confirmation came after Moniece lashed out about Apryl Jones’ interview with Carlos King where Apryl admits she never loved Fizz despite their hook-up.
Moniece explained the situation in a lengthy post on her Instagram Story.
“[Apryl] was never in love with my [baby daddy Lil Fizz]. But that is indeed what they told the world on @loveandhiphip. immediately what I will say is this. My BD TO THIS DAY will never stand up for me I don’t expect him to. I’ve given up that hope. But what he will do is show up for everyone else’s [baby mama]. From that shorty Chantel (or Chanel, I don’t remember) who he told me and my parents had a child by Jay-Z, to Apryl. And if we really wanna be technical, he and @omarion WERE INDEED FRIENDS. JUST LIKE SHE AND I WERE FRIENDS. She herself invited me to her bday while she was pregnant with megaa at she and @omarion house in Granada Hills.”
