Madelaine Petsch rose to fame on The CW’s anthem TV show Riverdale, and a recent article about the show has her clarifying something major.
Recently, her co-star KJ Apa gave an interview where he admitted that actors on teen dramas sometimes end up hooking up on set. Many then took this to mean that the cast of Riverdale, which also included Cole Sprouse, Lili Reinhart, Camila Mendes, Casey Cott, Charles Melton, and others, were hooking up with one another.
Madelaine is immediately issuing a clarification: she never hooked up with any of her co-stars!

On “Call Her Daddy,” Alex Cooper first asked, “Obviously your friendships on Riverdale were so iconic and everyone was obsessed with you guys. What was your first impression of those women in general?”

Madelaine actually interrupted her to clarify, “May I set the record straight actually? I would love to do this on air.”
She then shared, “Recently an article came out saying that we all f-ked each other on the show. I did not touch a single person on that show with a 10 foot pole. May I just repeat that one more time? I did not f-k a single person on Riverdale. I never touched them. That’s what happened. Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk.”
Alex asked, “Wait did people think you f-ked the girls or people on set?”
Madelaine responded, “It was just like this article that came out that was like, ‘We all f-ked each other all the time.’ And I was like, ‘Hey, no, I did f-k not any of you. I don’t claim that sh-t at all.’”
She added, “No, I don’t mix business and pleasure like that. I’ve never…with a costar. Do you know why though? You know what’s really ironic about all this is Cole sat me down during the pilot and was like, ‘If I can give you one piece of advice Mads.’ He was like, ‘Hey, don’t hook up with any of your costars.’ And so I was like, ‘Okay, got it. I won’t.’”
She added, “I never, I never have.”
