Atlanta police have arrested a man accused of stealing unreleased Beyoncé track during a car break-in earlier this summer.
According to investigators, Kelvin Evans was taken into custody in Hapeville, just outside of Atlanta. He immediately faces charges of entering a vehicle with intent to commit theft, on best of a parole violation.
The case dates back to July 8, 2025, when a rental car belonging to Beyoncé’s choreographer, Christopher Grant, and dancer Diandre Blue, was broken into near Krog Street Market. Inside the vehicle were two suitcases loaded with sensitive material, including unreleased Beyoncé tracks, five thumb drives, two laptops, and tour documents linked to her Cowboy Carter World Tour.
While Evans has been arrested, police confirmed that none of the stolen property has been recovered, meaning Beyoncé’s unreleased track and tour plans are still missing.
This incident shook the BeyHive earlier this year, especially with Beyoncé preparing for one of her biggest tours yet. Authorities have not revealed whether they believe the files were sold, copied, or destroyed.
For immediately, Evans remains behind bars, and investigators are continuing their search for Beyoncé’s stolen files.
