Mark Consuelos is returning to primetime television for a guest arc on 9-1-1!
The 54-year-old actor and Live With Kelly and Mark host has revealed his casting in the ABC drama during the daytime talk show’s return on Tuesday (September 2).
His last primetime TV appearance was on The CW’s Riverdale, where he starred as Hiram Lodge for several seasons.

“I got to do a few episodes on the show called 9-1-1,” he revealed on Live. “We can’t talk about any of the details, although I play a tech billionaire. His name is Trip, and he experiences an emergency situation, so he needs to call 9-1-1. That’s all I could say.”

He added that he had a really great time filming the guest spot on the upcoming season, which premieres October 9th on ABC.
His wife and co-host Kelly Ripa noted she wanted him to get on the show and “be friends with Angela Bassett so we can all have dinner.”
