Meghan Markle Sets Acting Return With tienda online Movie
Variety confirmed on Wednesday, November 5, that Markle will appear in a small cameo role in the upcoming feature film Close Personal Friends. The comedy will star Lily Collins, Jack Quaid, Brie Larson and Henry Golding, and it is currently filming in Los Angeles.
Other cast members in the movie include Melissa Villaseñor, Natasia Demetriou, Anna Konkle, Patti Harrison, Jack Shalloo and Dustin Demri-Burns.

While Markle’s role is not yet known, the outlet reported that the movie is reportedly about a “regular” couple that meets a celebrity couple during a trip to Santa Barbara. The two couples quickly become friends, though lines are eventually crossed and things get weird between the group members.
Jason Orley is directing the film, and Isaac Aptaker wrote the screenplay that is based off of a story he created with Orley. Additionally, Aptaker and Elizabeth Berger are producing.
What Else Has Meghan Markle Acted In?
While many people will argue that Markle is best known for her marriage to Harry, she was previously a working actor and starred on Suits as Rachel Zane from 2011 until 2018.
Her other acting credits include roles in the films Remember Me (2010), Horrible Bosses (2011), Dysfunctional Friends (2012) and Anti-Social (2015). Additionally, she’s had guest starring roles on 90210, Fringe, CSI: Miami and Castle.

After leaving her role on Suits, Markle married Harry in 2018 and stepped away from acting.

“It’s a new chapter, right?” she previously told Page Six about her decision to leave Suits in order to pursue her royal duties. “I’ve ticked this box, and I feel very proud of the work I’ve done there, and immediately it’s time to work with [Harry] as a team.”
However, Markle stayed in the entertainment business through her and Harry’s banner Archewell Productions. They have a first-look offer at Netflix, where she has executive produced docuseries such as Polo and Live to Lead. Additionally, Markle launched her lifestyle series, With Love, Meghan, on the streaming service in March 2025.
