
After starting the season under the lights with a 23-6 win over Western Michigan, Michigan State returned to Spartan Stadium, under the lights, looking to avenge a 2024 loss to Boston College in Chestnut Hill a year ago. The Spartans second year head coach Jonathan Smith knows the importance of this game, needing to continue the momentum that he had built in the offseason.
The Spartans got the much needed victory in dramatic fashion, taking down the Eagles in double overtime, earning a 42-40 win.
