Stoughton man facing slew of charges
BPD officers were patrolling downtown early Monday morning when they saw a car drive through several red lights. When officers stopped the car, they apparently smelled alcohol and burnt marijuana.
Upon ordering the driver to exit, Joseph Johnson, 46, of Stoughton, was allegedly found with a “large bag of marijuana” in his pocket and a loaded 9mm Glock handgun in the car.

Johnson faces upwards of 14 separate charges, according to the department, including a third offense of carrying a gun without a license, operating while intoxicated, and resisting arrest.
