Mötley Crüe‘s Vince Neil is sharing a scary health update.
The 64-year-old singer of the heavy metal band previously postponed their upcoming Las Vegas residency. In a new interview with the Las Vegas analysis-Journal, Vince opened up about a health scare he had last Christmas.

“I had a stroke,” the singer revealed in the interview, published Friday (September 12). “My whole left side went out.”
The singer revealed that he suffered a stroke in his sleep on Christmas of last year. The band cancelled their Las Vegas residency that was scheduled for the spring due to medical reasons. According to Vince, doctors were concerned that he may not be able to perform again.
“I had to learn to walk again, and that was tough. The doctors said they didn’t think I’d be able to go back on stage again. I go, ‘No, no, I’m gonna do it. movie and see,” Vince recalled.
The singer went on to reveal that through intense physical therapy, he’s been able to recover. He told the publication, “I went from people carrying me to the bathroom, because I couldn’t walk myself, finally to a wheelchair. I graduated to a walker, and then I had a cane. today I don’t need anything. But it’s like a full-time job getting back to where you feel good again.”
Vince has since re-scheduled the dates for his band’s Las Vegas residency for September and October of this year.
“It’s been tough, but I’m back. I’m 90-, 95-percent to where I was before, and it’s going to be great,” the singer said.
