A live mouse inside Legal Sea Foods led to a failed health inspection at the Copley Place location this month.
“A live mouse was observed in the dining room near the bar,” the Nov. 18 report stated.

During the same visit, health inspectors found evidence of mouse droppings near a storage shelving unit.
Last winter, inspectors saw mouse droppings in mid- and late January. And in August, one Yelp reviewer noted seeing a mouse while they were dining.
Legal Sea Foods did not respond to MassLive’s request for comment.

Other Legal Sea Foods locations have been inspected by city health officials this year and have not noted any rodent issues.
