
Necar Zadegan has joined the cast of the upcoming CBS series CIA, taking over a role previously held by Michael Michele.
It was recently reported that Michael had departed the show along with showrunner Warren Light and director Eriq La Salle.
FBI showrunner Mike Weiss has been hired to take over as showrunner and filming will resume with Necar taking on the Chief of Station role, according to Deadline.

CIA will have its premiere on February 23 in the Monday at 10pm timeslot, directly following FBI.
CIA will focus “on two unlikely partners – a quick-talking, rule-breaking loose cannon CIA case officer (Tom Ellis), and a by-the-book, seasoned and smart FBI agent (Nick Gehlfuss) who believes in the rule of law. When this odd couple are assigned to work out of CIA’s New York Station, they must learn to work together to investigate cases and criminals posing threats on U.S. soil, finding that their differences may actually be their strength.
