
BOSTON, Mass. (WLNE) — Four police officers are injured after a protest in Boston turned violent.
According to Boston police, 13 pro-Palestinian protesters were arrested last night near the Boston Common.
According to Boston police, protesters kicked a marked police cruiser, assaulted officers and blocked traffic.
Video from the Berkeley Beacon shows officers and protesters clashing in the street.
Eight men and five women were arrested.
Four officers were hurt with two officers sent to the hospital with broken bones.
According to Boston ABC affiliate WCVB, one officer also has a broken nose.
All of the officers are expected to be ok.
The protest was held on the second anniversary of the October 7 Hamas attack on Israel.
1,200 civilians were killed and 251 people were taken hostage.
