The King of Rock ‘n’ Roll died from a massive heart attack at the age of 42 in 1977. However, for decades there have been conspiracies that Elvis is actually still alive and fake his death in order to escape fame.
In a new interview, Priscilla, 80, set the record straight on the theory that Elvis is still alive.
Keep reading to find out more…“There’s been so much that’s untruthful out there — things like Elvis is still alive and hidden somewhere,” Priscilla told People.
“I wish he was still alive,” she added.
Priscilla was 14 when she first met Elvis, who is 10 years older than her, in Germany where her father was a U.S. Air Force Captain and Elvis was serving in the army.
They married in 1967 when Priscilla was 21 and Elvis was 32. Nine months later, they welcomed daughter Lisa Marie Presley in February 1968. Priscilla and Elvis ended up divorcing in 1973.
“I met him at such a young age I didn’t have time to think about life yet,” Priscilla shared with the outlet. “Even when dating him, I’d think, ‘What am I going to do? I don’t want to be a nurse. I don’t want to be a teacher. I don’t want to be a secretary. What can do?’ Other things happened, and I love every moment.”
In an interview from 2023, Priscilla explained why she and Elvis only had one child and shared why she never re-married.
