Raúl Castillo is the up-to-date star to join The Walking Dead franchise!
On Friday (October 10), it was announced that the 48-year-old Looking actor has joined the cast of AMC’s The Walking Dead: Dead City for season three as a new series regular.

Along with starring in the HBO series Looking, Raúl is also known for his roles in Task, Seven Seconds, Class of ’09, and Smile 2.
Season 3 will pick up in the aftermath of the Season 2 finale, which aired in June 2025.
Here’s the logline for the upcoming season: “Maggie (Lauren Cohan) and Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) finally put aside their differences to build the first thriving community in Manhattan since the apocalypse, but when chaos in the city begins to arise, they are forced to question: Have they learned from their old wounds or will their dark past spell doom for the entire city?”
Just a few weeks ago, it was announced that this actor has also joined the cast of Dead City!
Production for season three of The Walking Dead: Dead City is currently underway in Boston.
