Although the makers have yet to officially announce the Lokah Chapter 1: Chandra OTT release date, a social media post teases when fans can anticipate its release.
When will Lokah Chapter 1: Chandra arrive on OTT platforms?
According to OTT Flix, Lokah Chapter 1: Chandra will tentatively arrive on Netflix on October 23. However, there’s no official confirmation about the reports. Previously, Dulquer Salmaan, the producer of the film Lokah: Chapter 1 – Chandra, had debunked such claims and urged fans to wait for the official announcement. Dulquer posted, “Lokah isn’t coming to OTT anytime soon. Ignore the fake news and stay tuned for official announcements! #Lokah #WhatstheHurry.”
What is Lokah Chapter 1: Chandra about?
The film features Chandu Salimkumar, Arun Kurian, Nishanth Sagarm, and Sarath Sabha in the key roles. The film is produced by actor Dulquer Salmaan’s production house Wayfarer Films. It is a legend based fantasy fictional superhero film. It revolves around Chandra (Kalyani Priyadarshan), a young woman who arrives in Bangalore, gets entangled with an organ trafficking organization, and discovers she possesses supernatural powers, transforming into a superhero to fight evil.
How is the movie doing in theatres?
After 30 days of its premiere in theatres, the Malayalam movie has earned a total of Rs 143.56 crore in India. The movie has made a total of Rs 284 crore globally. Additionally, the film has surpassed the collection of Mohanlal’s ‘L2: Empuraan’ to become the highest-grossing Malayalam film.
