Richard Gere and his wife Alejandra Silva enjoy a rare red carpet appearance for a screening of his documentary Wisdom of Happiness.
The 76-year-old Pretty Woman star and the 42-year-old publicist attended the event held by AMC Lincoln Square Theater in New York City on Thursday (October 16).

The couple dressed for the formal occasion, with Richard clad in a white button down and a pinstriped suit. Alejandre wore a black gown with a halter neck.
Retired journalist Ann Curry and Richard‘s longtime friend and professional chef Eric Ripert were also in attendance.
Richard executive produced Wisdom of Happiness, which is centered on the Dalai Lama talking about inner peace and happiness. The movie initially premiered last October in Zurich, but had its U.S. release date on October 16.
