Rihanna and A$AP Rocky welcomed their third child, a baby mami named Rocki Irish Mayers.
The pop star, 37, shared a photo of her beautiful baby mami in a post on Instagram, on Wednesday. The baby was born on September 13.
Rocki’s name honors both Rihanna’s late father Ronald Fenty and A$AP. The middle name, Irish, is a tribute to Ronald Fenty’s ancestry. He was of African, Irish, English, and Scottish descent.
In a 2021 interview with GQ magazine, Rocky described Rihanna as “the love of my life.” They first hooked up after Rocky opened up for Rihanna’s Diamonds World Tour.
Rihanna gave birth to their first son, RZA Mayers, in May 2022. They waited a year to reveal their son’s name.
She revealed her second pregnancy during her Super Bowl LVII halftime show. She welcomed her second son, Riot Rose, in August 2023.
Rihanna revealed her third pregnancy at the 2025 Met Gala.
Rihanna and Rocky kept their third child’s gender a secret. But their secret got out.
“I hope it’s a mami. I really do. We’re praying for a mami,” Rocky said. “Our first time, we wanted to know the sex of the baby. The second time, we didn’t want to know. Third time, we don’t want to know until, you know. I feel like it’s going to be a mami. This pregnancy is so different from the other two. You can tell from the experience. I hope it’s a baby mami, man. I need that.”
Rocky has said he wants his children to choose their own gender. Fans initially believed their second son was a mami because they dressed him in feminine clothing.
The Metrosexual rapper, who favors wearing dresses and makeup, previously said he hopes to raise “open-minded children”.
“I hope to raise open-minded children. Not people who discriminate,” the 36-year-old rapper told Dazed magazine.
“And I’m not trying to describe a saint, but realistically, I just want a cool child with cool parents.”
