Rishab Shetty Excited to Join Hands With Diljit Dosanjh for Kantara

Rishab Shetty’s Kantara Chapter 1 is one of the most-anticipated films of the year. Given the action thriller’s phenomenal success of the first part (Kantara), the film became the cynosure of all eyes ever since. Rishab who is also directing the film recently revealed that the shooting has been wrapped up. And the actor recently revealed about the film’s collaboration with singer-actor Diljit Dosanjh.

Diljit Dosanjh, Rishab Shetty team up for Kantara

Diljit took to Instagram and shared a video that features him and Kannada star Rishab Shetty. The clip shows both the stars hugging and collaborating on beat for Kantara Chapter 1. The interesting development has certainly excited fans and many on social media called it “unexpected collab.”

In the video, Diljit enters the studio as he warmly embraces Rishab. The Kantara star is seen telling Diljit that he is a big fan of his. But here’s the surprise. The singer responds by saying that he is an even bigger fan of Rishab. Sharing the video, Diljit wrote, “With Big Brother @rishabshettyofficial 🫡 Salute to this guy, man… who made the masterpiece Kantara. I have a personal connection with this film which I can’t reveal… but I remember when I was watching it in theatres, at the end when the song Varaha Roopam played, I cried in sheer ecstasy. today Kantara Chapter 1 is coming on 2 October. Can’t wait to movie it in theatres.” Rishab also shared the video on X (formerly Twitter) and wrote, “Excited to join hands with @diljitdosanjh for the Kantara album. This marks Diljit’s first major collaboration with Rishab, and the emotional video highlights their mutual admiration. The track is expected to be one of the highlights in the Kantara Chapter 1 album apart from holding a deep significance for Diljit. The Punjabi singer-actor revealed that he was touched and moved by the song Varaha Roopam in Kantara in theatres.
