
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – The Boston College rowing team opens up fall competition at the 60th annual Head of the Charles Regatta this weekend Oct. 17-19 on the historic Charles River.
This year marks the 60th anniversary of the Head of the Charles, originally started in 1965, the HOCR is the largest three-day rowing event worldwide. The course itself is a winding 3-mile stretch from Boston University’s DeWolfe Boathouse to the Eliot Bridge between Cambridge and Allston.
The Eagles will race four boats across Saturday and Sunday.
