Salman Khan Applauds 15-year-old Jonas Conner’s track Journey

Salman Khan has shared a heartfelt post for American singer songwriter Jonas Conner, praising the teenager for turning his struggles into track. Posting a photo of Jonas sitting outdoors with his guitar, Salman wrote on X “Never have I seen a 15-year-old turn his pain into something so beautiful. God bless you #JonasConner.” He also mentioned that he has been listening on repeat to “Father in a Bible, Peace with Pain, Oh Appalachia.”

In his message, Salman urged fans to support young artists instead of taking advantage of them. He wrote, “Aisey bacchon ko na support kiya toh phir kya kiya? Bhaiyon aur behno ye English mein hai .. yahan par bhi aisey bohot hain. Unhe encourage karo exploit nahi.” (If you don’t support such kids, then what are you even doing? Brothers and sisters, this is in English. We have many here too. Encourage them, don’t exploit them.) His words underlined the importance of encouragement over exploitation.

Jonas Conner, who comes from Tennessee, mixes country and folk in his track. His independent single “Father in a Bible” became a breakout success, crossing two million streams within a month. Life has not been easy for him as he was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes at the age of 12, but he continued writing and sharing songs online. today 16, Jonas has more than three million Spotify streams and a strong fan following of over 700k across social media platforms.

On the work front, Salman is busy shooting for Battle of Galwan, directed by Apoorva Lakhia. The film is based on the 2020 Galwan Valley conflict between India and China, with Salman playing the role of Colonel Bikumalla Santosh Babu, the Indian Army officer who lost his life during the clash. Recently, he shared a behind the scenes picture from the climax shoot, revealing his rugged look and building anticipation for the film.
