Selena Gomez‘s mom is speaking out about a major rumor regarding her daughter’s wedding day.
Mandy Teefey confirmed that Selena‘s grandfather David Cornett walked her down the aisle during her nuptials to Benny Blanco, not her dad Ricardo Gomez or her stepdad Brian Teefey.
A report emerges this weekend suggesting that Mandy was upset that she herself wasn’t asked.

In the comments of an Instagram post, she slammed the rumor that she was upset Selena did not choose her to walk her down the aisle.
“This is ludacris!” she posed.
Selena‘s mom wrote in a separate post, “What a perfect celebration for the most kick ass couple I know! The evening couldn’t have been more beautiful and perfect! Absolutely flawless! All my love to my beautiful daughter @selenagomez and to the greatest son in law @itsbennyblanco!!! It was a fairytale come true and it was beyond heartwarming watching my father walk her down the aisle!!! XO.”
