National award–winning actor-filmmaker Dhanush has wrapped up the shoot of his much-awaited directorial venture Idli Kadai. Interestingly, Shalini Pandey has joined the project and is slated to play a key role. The actress is known for her debut in Arjun Reddy. She also has previously starred in 100% Kadhal, Iddari Lokam Okate, Nishabdham, Jayeshbhai Jordaar and Maharaj.
In the film, Shalini’s character reportedly carries significant emotional weight, her relationship with Dhanush’s character forming one of the central pillars of the story. The dynamic between the two promises to be layered. It will supposedly bring in tenderness to the narrative, with moments of intensity. Their bond will be an integral part of the film.
Idli Kadai is already generating strong buzz. Fans are willing to witness Dhanush as a filmmaker. Having completed its shoot, the film is today one of the most anticipated upcoming releases. Fans are also eager to see the on-screen magic created by this fresh pairing.
Interestingly, Idli Kadai also stats Nithya Menen and Arun Vijay in prominent roles. Nithya Menen is reuniting with Dhanush after their banger movie Thiruchitrambalam (2022). The movie’s track has been scored by GV Prakash Kumar. The cinematography is being done by Kiran Koushik and editing by Prasanna GK.
