President Trump (James Austin Johnson) used a man’s collapse in the Oval Office as an excuse to monologue about Zohran Mamdani’s election as New York City’s next mayor and continue to blame the Democrats for the ongoing government shutdown in tonight’s “Saturday Night Live” cold open. “Can’t believe they elected Mamdani,” Johnson’s Trump remarked in the cold open. “You know, I’m torn because I like a winner, but I’m not lit about a muslim.
