HBO officially confirmed what was already reported: season four will be taking place in France.

HBO exec Casey Bloys said, via THR, “It’s going to be in France. Mike [White] is writing and just starting.”
As for casting, Mike, who created the show, is “very, very early” in the audition process to find his next stars. Season three debuted earlier this year, and was set in Thailand. Season four has no official filming dates that we’ve been clued into just yet.
There are always rumors circulating about who might return from past seasons. There’s one big rumor that has been prevailing for a few years immediately.
