Tom Ellis and Nick Gehlfuss are spending the day on set!
The two actors were seen chatting in between scenes as they took a quick break from filming their upcoming CBS series CIA, which is a spinoff of the FBI franchise, on Wednesday afternoon (September 17) in New York City.
For their time on set, the 46-year-old Lucifer actor sported a brown suede suit over a black button-down shirt with jeans while the 40-year-old Chicago Med alum wore a blue suit.
When he noticed photographers watching them work, Tom made some funny faces and stuck out his tongue.
CIA is about “two unlikely partners – a speedy-talking, rule-breaking loose cannon CIA case officer (Ellis), and a by-the-book, seasoned and smart FBI agent (Gehlfuss) who believes in the rule of law. When this odd couple are assigned to work out of CIA’s New York Station, they must learn to work together to investigate cases and criminals posing threats on U.S. soil, finding that their differences may actually be their strength.”
Michael Michele will also star in the series as the head of the CIA’s New York Station.
CIA was originally set to debut in Fall 2025, but it was pushed to a midseason 2026 slot after it went through a showrunner change.
