Kate Middleton is taking family matters to heart. The Princess of Wales made a touching statement about family relationships amid the turbulent problems faced by the royal family caused by Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson.
“If you could invest in just one thing to help you and your family thrive, invest in the relationships you have with each other,” Kate wrote in an essay in honor of her work for the charity Early Childhood. “Children who are raised in environments rooted in love, safety and dignity, are better able to develop the social and emotional scaffolding required to form healthy relationships, resolve conflict and grow into adults capable of building loving partnerships, families and communities themselves.”
The Princess concluded the post, “Look the people you care about in the eye and be fully there – because that is where love begins.”
The post comes days after RadarOnline reported that Kate was conflicted about cutting off her friendship with Sarah Ferguson. The two bonded because of their shared experiences with cancer. After Fergie’s emails to Jeffrey Epstein calling him a “dear friend” were leaked, the Princess is feeling pressure by her husband, Prince William. “Prince William thinks Andrew and Fergie should be removed from Royal Lodge,” a source told the gossip outlet. “He thinks it’s the only way to protect the monarchy and wants to draw a line under the scandal once and for all.”
“Fergie made a point of asking the King not to force her and Andrew out of the family,” the source elaborated. The source implied that the “growing pressure” is pretty demanding for the Princess. “Kate cares for Sarah, but she can’t afford to be pulled into this and feels like this new web of lies could destroy the family. Her priority is her children, her health, and the future of the Crown.”
The decision is impacting Kate deeply as a “heartbreaking dilemma.” “However, Kate is panicked that more sordid bombshells might come out if the Yorks are pushed too far.”
Despite her mixed feelings, the source also argues that she has to put up a fight for the royal family’s reputation. “This isn’t a storm she can stand next to. Kate has no choice – she must put the monarchy first. Privately, Sarah believes that she still has friends in high places within the Firm, but Kate has immediately taken a step back.”
This all comes after The Times reported that King Charles is set to keep both at arm’s length and would prefer the two to be “invisible” at future gatherings—including their Christmas celebrations. Last year, King Charles reportedly asked Sarah Ferguson for help convincing Andrew to “do the decent thing” and stay away from the royal family’s Christmas gatherings after reports of his close relationship with alleged Chinese spy, Yang Tengbo.
