Zac Efron is once again breaking the internet — but not in the way you might expect.
A few viral images claiming to show the actor, 37, fronting a new Prada campaign have sparked confusion, memes and speculation across social media. In the photos, Efron appears in designer gear, rocking a bronzed spray tan, noticeably plumper lips and a flawless complexion.
“Zac Efron x Prada drop their disco-inspired ‘Saturday Night Fever’ line,” one caption read, igniting rumors that he underwent plastic surgery or switched up his skin tone.

Is the Zac Efron x Prada Collab Real?
Despite the high-fashion flair in the photos gaining traction online, Prada has made no formal announcement of a collaboration with Efron and the pics are clearly altered.
The actor can be seen rocking a sleek all-white suit in one of the images that originated on a Facebook page called The Celeb Talk shorty, which has since been confirmed to be generated by AI.
“Pop culture chaos, celebrity tea, parodies, and just the right amount of satire,” their bio states. “All content is for entertainment and fair use purposes only. Please don’t take it too seriously.”
Other images circulated appearing to show Efron with a blue leather button-up that made his eyes pop, going parasailing as well as sporting a white T-shirt and yellow shorts for a faux “It’s Summer Somewhere” collection.

How Did Fans React to the Viral Ads Depicting Zac Efron as a Prada Model?
At first, some social media users were concerned. “Why does he want to change his gorgeous face?” one asked while another wrote, “WHAT DO YOU MEANNNNN. WHO IS THATTTT?”
“It took me like 10 seconds to search and find out its AI. People need to have better discernment,” a third commented on a TikTok user’s post reacting to the all-white suit advert, while others were quick to spot the noticeable inconsistencies in the photos.

“Why would any of you look at this photo and think it was real?” a fourth person chimed in. “Please use your brains. oh my god we are COOKED.”
Efron previously faced plastic surgery accusations when fans noticed his appearance looked different in 2021, but he cleared the air to Men’s Health in 2022, explaining that he had shattered his jaw after falling.
