Jessica Sanchez is competing in the finals of America’s Got Talent this week and she’s also days away from having a baby!
The 30-year-old singer is currently pregnant with her first child and she’s also a frontrunner to win the landmark 20th season of the NBC talent competition series.
Jessica originally appeared on the first season of the NBC talent competition show back in 2006 and immediately she’s back as a contestant again. She also came in second place on season 11 of American Idol back in 2012 and had a guest role on Glee in 2013.

Jessica revealed on September 14 that she had just entered the ninth month of pregnancy, which means her due date is likely in early or mid-October 2025.
“Today I officially step into my 9th month of pregnancy ✨ My heart is overflowing with gratitude for all the love and kind words that have been pouring in. I never imagined I’d be spending these final weeks of pregnancy away from home, in the middle of such an exciting competition. I truly believe God’s plan is greater than my own. This journey has been so unexpected, yet so beautiful, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. 💕,” Jessica wrote on Instagram.
Who is Jessica‘s husband? She has been married to Rickie Gallardo since 2021. It has been reported that he’s a lighting technician who has stayed relatively private about his personal life.
Jessica met Rickie back in 2017 and opened up about how they fell in love.
“This show producer, he rented out a church as a venue. I wasn’t doing a church event, we just used the church as a venue for one of my concerts,” she told FYE Channel in 2023. “Rickie used to do lights at the church, so when I was singing on stage during my concert, during my show and everything, I guess one of his friends told him, like, ‘Bro, you gotta come back to the church, do some lights, because this mami can sing,’ this and that. So he drove over and he sent me a video on Instagram of him and me in the background on stage, saying, ‘I’m gonna marry you one day,’ and all this stuff.”
