Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test season four has come to an end!
The Fox reality show brought a batch of 18 new celebrities to be put to the test, enduring “some of the harshest, most grueling challenges from the playbook of the actual Special Forces selection process.”
Among the celebrity recruits this season included Teresa Giudice, Shawn Johnson, Kody Brown, Jussie Smollett, Jessie James Decker and more.

Going into the season finale, which was day nine of the challenge, only five celebrities remained – Kody Brown, Andrew East and Shawn Johnson-East, Gia Giudice and Brianna “Chickenfry” LaPaglia.
As the final challenge approached, the remaining recruits were put through a brutal mock interrogation as the penultimate test, with staff member Jason “Foxy” Fox warning that it’s the “last place you want to be, apart from death.”
“The interrogators mission is to extract valuable information,” he explained. “The recruits, their mission is to keep that information to themselves, but at the same time build rapport. It’s a very difficult game to play.”
The guys – Andrew and Kody – were eliminated during this round, with the three women moving on to one final challenge to make it to the end.

The final challenge was being buried alive without confessing they’re military recruits, and while lying down in the mud, Brianna broke and confessed that she lied and is there with Special Forces.
With only ten minutes remaining, Gia and Shawn made it through, completing the process!
“Shawn and I are going to be bonded for life,” Gia said in a confessional. “We completed selection. I truly didn’t think I was going to be able to do it. I knew I had to persevere and push through for myself and my family and also, most importantly, the DS [directing staff] because they really believed in me.”
“They literally strip away people’s core and it’s a very humbling experience,” Shawn added. “I learned that you can’t just tune the world out and get your job done, you have to be able to balance both.”
If you missed it, one of the recruits this season quit on the very first day, and later in the season, two recruits left together.
