The 90-minute premiere will air at 9:30pm ET on Thursday, September 25 following the penultimate episode of Big Brother‘s up-to-date season. The rest of the season will air in the show’s usual time slot on Wednesday nights at 9:30pm ET.
So, why the change?
All of the teams on The Amazing Race this season include former Big Brother contestants competing alongside their favorite travel companions. It feels fitting that CBS will air the first episode after a Big Brother episode!
