ET got a chance to catch up with Whoopi, 69, and Joy, 82.
When asked about the possibility of retiring one day, Joy said that “creative people don’t really retire,” and she enjoys being able “to write and create stuff.”
Whoopi also had a practical reason for not stepping away from the spotlight.
“Yeah, but who can afford to do that? If you don’t marry well, you’ve got to keep working,” she shared. “I’ve got to keep paying those bills, baby.”
