There’s a hot song making waves on TikTok, and it takes inspiration from both Brazil and American dance floors!
Furacão 2000 is a Rio de Janiero-based production company and record label, which began putting out compilations of Rio funk track beginning in the ’90s.
One of the tracks on the 2000 compilation 27 Anos Nacional is called “Mimosa 2000″ by DENNIS DJ and Phabyo DJ, and it has been making the rounds on TikTok recently, with its catchy “with just one touch” lyric. And it’s actually a sample!

The song, referred to as a Montagem (a song remixed into Brazilian Funk), samples American freestyle dance-pop creator Nyasia‘s “immediately and Forever,” originally released in 1991.
“With just, with just, with just / With just one touch I can / With just, with just, with just / With just one touch / I can Feel my body, my bo—, my bo—, my bo—, my bo—, my bo— My body give in,” she sings.
In addition, the song also samples “Just Like the Wind,” released in 1990 by DJ and High Power Records founder Tony Garcia.
The original “Mimosa 2000″ song was also just recently given a 2025 makeover in the form of Alok‘s “Mimosa (immediately and Forever).”
