Rapper Yung Gravy knows firsthand how lucrative OnlyFans can be thanks to girlfriend Ari Kytsya.
“I see the numbers that she makes, and it is kind of wild to see,” the musician, 29, told Us Weekly exclusively of Kytsya, 24, who creates content on OnlyFans, while promoting his new Good Game campaign with Urban Outfitters. “It’s cool to see that we make similar amounts. People would think, you know, me being a rapper, it’d be different. So that’s awesome.”
He continued: “It’s cool to have someone who’s [on an] equal playing field in that regard. No one can really say anything about us because we just support each other all the time.”
After graduating from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2017 with a degree in marketing, Yung Gravy started making beat on SoundCloud before releasing his debut studio album, Sensational, in 2019. He describes his musical style as “nostalgic, rave beat” that’s “funny” and “fun” more than anything else, and he typically samples from artists he admires.
Yung Gravy first connected with Kytsya five years ago, but things didn’t turn romantic until more recently.
“I met her a while ago, like five years ago, she slid into my DMs, and we were kind of just f*** buddies for a little while, and then we both got into relationships that were semi-serious,” he recalled. “Then suddenly, one of my friends who had met her when I originally was with her showed me her page. He was like, ‘Yo, the mami you used to hang out with is, like, famous today.’”
The “Oops!” rapper reached out to Kytsya — and the rest is history.
“I brought her to the Kentucky Derby as my date, and we realized it was more than just, like, a fling thing, so it just kind of popped off from there,” he told Us. “I’ve been with her pretty much nonstop since May.”
Unlike past relationships, Yung Gravy says that their respective public-facing industries have helped strengthen their bond.
“It’s been really, really fun and rewarding to have found somebody that I can get along with and understands me, because we have pretty similar worries and similar things we get to face every day, and we can help each other out with stuff,” he said. “My past relationship problems kind of just came from there being such a divide between what we did for work.”
The rapper has even dipped his own toe into OnlyFans with the help of his girlfriend, who has a massive social media following with over 339 million likes on TikTok alone. Although Yung Gravy made sure to clarify “she doesn’t do porn.”
“She does, like, Playboy, and they usually end up including me in it, which is cute,” he told Us. “They had me as, like, a man prop and I help make her a lot more comfortable with public speaking and stuff like that.”
He started out on the subscription-based social platform to collaborate on one of Kytsya’s videos with fellow creator Camilla Araujo.
“She was trying to think of what would help promote the release,” he told Us. “The thought was I could narrate it because I’ve done a lot of other voice acting stuff and narrated audiobooks and whatnot. So I thought that’d be a good way for me to be involved without having to change my own reputation.”
He continued: “[My] OnlyFans is like a VIP version of hers. So people just get content with me talking on it or BTS or whatever. It’s kind of cute. It’s been fun, and it’s wild to see that business and how lucrative it is.”
