As the sentencing date for Sean “Diddy” Combs gets closer, the disgraced track mogul’s track team is doing everything they can to ensure that he walks free, and Yung Miami is doing to part to ensure that her ex is painted in the best light for the judge.
In her letter, the rapper says she calls Diddy a “loving, genuine, supportive, and always encouraging” figure, and told the judge that “he belongs at home, with his family.”
“He believed in me, pushed me to grow and taught me how to be a better business woman. He helped me find balance between chasing my dreams and being present for my family, because that’s what he did — no matter how busy he was, he never missed holidays or special moments with his family,” Yung Miami wrote.
Here’s the letter Caresha Brownlee aka Yung Miami wrote for Diddy.
“I’m writing this letter because I believe it’s important for the court to know the side of Sean that
isn’t always seen or spoken about—the man who poured into others, who gave opportunities …” pic.twitter.com/aXUwPfYNrh— Meghann Cuniff (@meghanncuniff) September 23, 2025
The rapper says she is not discrediting any of his abusive behavior to others in the past, but that she did not experience the same thing while she was with him.
Yung Miami and Diddy’s relationship began making waves in mid-2021, when they were first spotted together. By June 2022, she confirmed on her podcast Caresha Please that they were dating, though not exclusive. The two shared affectionate moments into 2023, supporting each other publicly.
