Tomorrow (Tuesday): Mainly bright skies with just a few more clouds possible compared to Monday. Temperatures trend a touch warmer, topping out within a few degrees of 85. Humidity should be rather low with dew points remaining in the 50s. Breezes from the east stay fairly light. Confidence: High

Wednesday trends a touch warmer with highs at least in the mid-80s, to perhaps near 90 in the hotter spots. Humidity is still in check for one last day. Sunshine should dominate over any periodic clouds, so wear that sunscreen. It may feel increasingly humid Wednesday night as a moister breeze comes from the south, helping lows to hover in the warmer upper 60s to mid-70s. Confidence: Medium-High
High heat, humidity and afternoon to evening storm chances return Independence Day through at least Saturday. The thermometer alone should get to the mid-90s each day, with higher humidity pushing the peak heat index to at least near 100. Mindfully hydrate! As we get closer to the Fourth, we’ll try to get more detailed as to if and how storms could impact outdoor plans. Confidence: Medium
The heat may decrease slightly by Sunday, but that’s uncertain. Highs should still be at least in the low 90s with moderate to high humidity and a continuing shower and storm chance, and heat index values in the mid-90s to around 100 still in play. Confidence: Low-Medium
